A Road to Pasadena Benefit Concert

Music knows no boundaries. On January 10th, we bridge the gap between Arizona and Mexico to help our friends, Los Bordershop, reach the BHS Midwinter stage in Pasadena, California.

Master of Ceremonies

Lori Lyford

Lori is the director of the six-time international gold medal winning Sweet Adeline's chorus. Highly sought after coach, mentor, and teacher world wide. Recipient of the prestigious National Association for Music Educator award from both Sweet Adelines International (2012) and the Barbershop Harmony Society (2018). Recipient of SAI's Lifetime Achievement Award and last August Lori received the Bev Sellers/Lou Laurel Arizona Lifetime Achievement in Barbershop Music Award. Music teacher for 27 years in the Chandler Unified School District. We are absolutely thrilled to have her MC for us!

Los Bordershop (Guests of Honor)

Formed in 2019, Los Bordershop is a trailblazing "distance quartet" and the world's first binational Mexican-American barbershop group. With members spanning Xalapa, Mexico City, and Flagstaff, AZ, they are among the rare few performing barbershop in Spanish. Their mission is to serve as ambassadors for the art form throughout Latin America.

Euphonix (Your Hosts)

Formed in August 2024, Euphonix is a Phoenix-based mixed quartet that blends the "classic ring" of barbershop with a fresh, contemporary edge. In their debut year, they quickly established themselves by taking home the title of 2025 Far Western District Novice Quartet Champions.

The Associates

We are delighted to welcome The Associates to the stage. Known for their tight harmonies and engaging presence, they are a fantastic addition to this lineup of Arizona talent.

Banana Bread

This talented group brings a delicious blend of humor and harmony to the stage. Always a crowd favorite, Banana Bread serves up entertainment that leaves you smiling.

PHX

PHX formed out of a shared passion for four-part barbershop harmony and their four-legged furry families. As proud members of both Sweet Adelines International and Harmony Inc., they currently hold the title of Region 21's 4th Place Quartet Medalists.

Suit Up

True to their name, Suit Up brings style, sophistication, and championship-level sound. As the 2017 Far Western District Champions, the lineup features Justin Klemballa (Tenor), R.J. Esquivias (Lead), Brent Graham (Baritone), and Rodney Armstrong (Bass). We are honored to have them support this cause.

Yes Dear

Formed in 2023 by two married couples 'just for fun,' Yes Dear quickly became a force in the barbershop world. They are the 2023 Far Western District Champions and recently placed 25th at the International Contest. With deep roots in the Scottsdale Chorus and The Phoenicians, this powerhouse quartet features R.J. & Melanie Esquivias and Justin & Caitlin Klemballa.
